Diagnostic and therapeutic lower GI procedures: polypectomy, GI bleed hemostasis, and stenting, performed at the Shifa Medical Centre endoscopy suite.

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography: stone removal, Spyglass cholangioscopy, laser lithotripsy, biliary stenting, and pancreatic stenting.

Endoscopic Ultrasound

Diagnostic EUS, fine-needle biopsy (FNB/FNA), cystogastrostomy, and EUS-guided stenting for pancreatobiliary and luminal pathology.

Endoscopic mucosal dissection (EMD) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for early GI neoplasia and submucosal lesions.

Biliary ascariasis removal.

An uncommon-looking obstruction on imaging that turned out to be a worm in the bile duct. One procedure, one patient discharged the next morning.

Management of esophageal perforation with an Ovesco clip.

A full-thickness esophageal defect, closed in a single endoscopic session. The patient was eating soft food on day three.
